Privacy

say.as has no accounts and no ads.

When you send a message, that text and recent lines from the same conversation go to our translation provider, OpenRouter, only so they can be translated. OpenRouter routes the request to a model provider such as OpenAI, and can fall back to a Google model. Our server does not store message text.

The app also sends its own interface labels to OpenRouter to translate the screen. We do not store those labels either.

The conversation stays in this browser’s local storage. Choose New chat and press Start to replace it. Clear this site’s data in the browser to remove it.

Logs and usage records hold metadata only, not the words you write. That metadata is language codes, character and token counts, the model, latency, time to the first output, country, a conversation id, and a venue tag when your link included one. Logs also record status, whether the fallback model answered, an error class, and a Cloudflare data-center code. Logs keep the first eight characters of the conversation id and do not include the device id. The device id is a random value stored in this browser, and it is written to usage records.

Cloudflare hosts say.as and processes standard request data, including IP address, for delivery, security, and rate limiting. This app uses the IP address only in memory to limit requests. We do not put IP addresses in our logs or usage records.
